What 30-40Year Old Women Are Into

the middle picture is a woman in her mid 30s i used this so it would actually look like were descriving her .

i used the image of dark make up because as you get older i think you think less about light make up coloured kindov thing so i used brown as a representitive .

i used the shopping bags to show that they also love going shopping even for christmas or there kids birthdays .

the high heel image is to represent that there grown up and more mature .

the kids image because i expect they have childern .

the woman with her mates is just to show that she can go out and have fun regardless of her age .

the perfume , bag , ring , nails and nail varnish images are to show that they still care about there aperance without having to make a big effort .

and the men image is to show that they like having a man to settle down with .

i had a singing lesson during this piece of work and it took me 10 mins to do as i did not have enough time to finish it i used copy and paste to lay out my images and then i used the layout to stretch the image to a different level .
this can be imporved my using a different format and then using more space and making sure there aint no more white spaces avalible (y)

The Media Evaluation

1)      Explain what skills you developed by doing all the tasks above. This will be quite long – you can go back and look at tour work if you need to.

I have used different types of skills and media to gain what I have done in the lesson, I have learned how to mask and image effectively and I have learned what I have done wrong and what I needed to do in the future.

Another skill I have developed has been the type writing skills, to know how to structure and present a good script. When writing a script you have to use good language and make sure that all the writing is on point and that you don’t write the wrong this in the wrong spaces or it won’t make the perfect sense. We also developed the skills of making a good magazine cover or mane page in a magazine. This helped to also again mask around an image on Photoshop and put text in different structured places.

2)      Which tasks did you enjoy doing the most? Why?

I enjoyed doing the type writing task about the taxi driver the most because you could share your ideas into a script, and we drew out what we wanted to happen in our story. In this task we learned how to use different types of structures so we could lay out our story the way it was meant to be correctly laid out. This also helped because on top of us learning we could also have fun and make our stories interesting.

3)      Which skills were you best at?

I think my best skills that I used was probably my improvement to mask my images because when we first started the lesson I had no idea how they made the magazine covers and we got to use the magic wand tool and other to help us make the image look effective and real , I enjoyed this because I was learning something new and I found it hard at first but then got the hang of it as we started to do it a little bit more in after lessons and I am now confidant to mask images correctly .

4)      How do you think you can use your skills in the future lessons?

I think that I can use these skills in future lessons because i may need to know how to write a story for an assessment or I might have to mask an image for a magazine or for a poster, I also think that the camera movements will help in lessons in the future because I may have to go out and take pictures for one of the magazines I might have to write for.

5)      What skills do you think you need to get better at?

I think I need to get better at the one we did lady gaga on because I struggled a little bit and got in half finished and then I didn’t save it properly and lost all my work, maybe I should have started again so I could update it on my blog because that piece of work is missing from it.

6)      What could you do to get better at those skills ? Be really pacific ..

I think I need to get better at the 3 column layout because I didn’t really get the whole fact of having to put loads of different squares on other squares and I thought it was really confusing , maybe I should go though it again step by step .

my work was unfinished and i needed to add more captions to it so people will know what is happening in the images

they also needed to be more clear and effected images so it was clear what my story was about

The Killer Taxi Driver

TATE walks out of a club in a short pink dress white heels and had a white hand bag ... she is on the phone to her boyfriend.

TATE (talking into the phone)

babe I’m on my way home, I’ll have to jump into a taxi but I have no money so make sure you awake to pay the driver at the other end.

TATE holds out her hand as a black taxi pulls up.

DRIVER: (deep voice smiling)

were you going miss?

TATE:

Local Street?

TATE jumps into the taxi and the DRIVER starts to drive off

              TATE (still talking on the phone)

          Ok babe I’m going to be about an hour I love you

TATE gets off the phone as the DRIVER stairs at her through the wind mirror...

              DRIVER

          What’s a pretty lady like you doing out at this time? What you been doing? Nice time? Friends? Couple of drinks?

TATE looks awkwardly as she feels like the driver is asking too many questions

              TATE (awkwardly)

          Ooh was just out with friend you know the normal once a month kinder thing ... don’t go out very often ... and can you take a right here please

The DRIVER ignores her instructions and takes a left and speeds down an ally TATE panics and trys to open the door ... the DRIVER puts the child locks on

              DRIVER (laughing)

Going somewhere? Don’t worry I know the back streets been driving for years babe no need to worry ( he then winks and put music on )

TATE trys to talk to him but he is either ignoring her or can hear her

              TATE (crying and shouting)

Hello ? your going the wrong way ... take me back please take me back ... i just want to go home please ... i have children please please ...

TATE pulls out her phone to call her boyfriend and the DRIVER looks through the wind mirror to see her calling somebody he panics

              DRIVER (screaming)

What are you doing ? are you that stupid ay ? ( he jumps into the back off the taxi and grabs her ) give me the phone ... ( shouts) NOW GIVE ME THE PHONE

TATE ignores his instructions and pulls away  ... the DRIVER grabs TATE by the neck and squeezes her she screams and crys and trys to pull away

              DRIVER (shouting)

I told you to give me the phone and as you decide not to listen this is your own fault

The car goes silent TATE lays there still and dosent make a single sound ... the driver picks up her phone and puts it in her hand .. he then sits still beside her ... a silent ally were no one was seen and were TATE lays there dead

The Story About The Boyfriend Cheatimg On Someone

MOLLY sits at the bus stop waiting for the bus to come so she can meet her boyfriend. REISS walks past and sits beside molly nervously.

     REISS : (quietly) MOLLY iv got something to tell you...

MOLLY moves closer to REISS

     MOLLY : go on ...

     REISS : well you know CARLY in year 10 ?

MOLLY Rolls her eyes and pulls a funny face and REISS laughs

     MOLLY : ( Laughing ) yeah I know of her ... why ?

REISS puts her head down

     REISS : well MOLL she was with JAIME this morning and they was holding hands in the park and yeah you got the point

Tears roll down MOLLYS face and moves a little bit closer

In My Work I Placed The Background Needed , I Then Cut Around The Places Were I Did Not Want On My Work . I Then Deleted The Last Fue Bits And It Left Me With The Apropriate Masked Bored And A Background ... I Then Added The Image Of The Woman In The Image And Masked Around Her .. Then Added The 2 Different Colourd Dress' .. I Done This To show That She Shop Was Selling The Item In 2 Different Colours

Peoples Attenshon In My Work . I Only Used One colour For My Text Because To Much Colour Would Clash On The Photo shop Image . I Used The Colour Red To Bring Out a Part Of the Image , Kayne Is Wering A Red Badge And I Thought That It Would Look Good If The Same Colour Combined .

My Work Needs A Little Improving As It Is not Finished , Buy Mainly Because I Struggled To Get The Masthead In the Right Place .
